Like, you know, the 5th wheel / gooseneck prep packages on the F-350. Which can't be installed after delivery. Why are they even wasting the electrons to keep the website up if you can't order a 350 with the under-bed prep package? For fuck's sake, Ford. Just replace the homepage with a photo of John Candy saying "Sorry, folks. Park's closed." https://scontent-ort2-1.xx.fbcdn.net...Ig&oe=623825C1 |

This reminds me of something my dad would do because he's cheap, rushes everything and is not too worried about imperfections. Dad: Come and have a look at what I've done to the old MX5. ... we walk into the shed Me: WTF have you done, that colour's hideous! Dad: Yeah, not the colour I'd prefer but I got it cheap from Bunnings, it's called "work-wear orange". Me: It's a pretty crap paint job, did you spend much time on prep and how many coats did you use? Dad: Nah, just hit it with the pressure hose, left it in the summer sun to dry off, then gave it two coats of paint. Me: Yeah, I can see the paint runs and pitting. Me: What's with the number plate, almost looks like you screwed it into the bumper bar? Dad: It is - the number plate bracket was F * * * * D. Me: You do realise it's crooked! Dad: Yeah, I stuffed up the screw on the right and had to re-drill it higher. Me: Ah well, at least you're driving her again. Dad: Not really, after about 10 minutes on the road she overheats and I have to pull over to let her cool down again. Any ideas? Me: Are you serious? |
