The motorcycle on which Evel Knievel allegedly first planned to jump the Grand Canyon was, in fact, equipped with Turbonique rocket motors.

That the bike was actually functional, or capable of making the jump, has to some extent been de-bunked. Good article here from a retired aerospace engineer who claims to have had some involvement: How I met Evel Knievel
But, yeah, Gene Middlebrooks (Turbonique founder) was clearly on-par with Knievel on the batshit-crazy-ometer.

Anyway, this is allegedly footage of a Tesla model 3, running on Autopilot, doing a remarkably good job of holding its lane position and not crashing after a Nissan gives it a pretty good sideways whack at high speed:
