I am still trying to figure out the significance of this photo.
There may be some hidden meaning to life, a secret message I am missing, some code, or a cleverly disguised signal to run for the hills.
I work on an Air Force base and there is mandatory guidance that requires I have some kind of face covering before I can enter certain places, such as the shoppette. People wear all kinds of things, some that meet the letter of the law, if not the actual intent. I asked the wife unit to make me a mask--she's a wiz at sewing. She found some black and white checkered material and went at it. I post this pic not because of the mask itself, but rather to share a story that might be useful to other gentlemen.
I have some other clothing--socks, shirts, pajamas, and a tie--that share the checkered flag theme. I went to the shoppette yesterday to peruse the sales and pick up some beer. I had my mask on, and my checkered socks. The gal at the checkout counter was wearing a mask with a black and white tiger stripe pattern. I asked her if she was wearing anything else that matched her mask. I could tell she had a huge grin under her mask, but she didn't answer.
