Has anybody here done something similar with respect to how they mounted the wing? (go to 9:30 for reference).

I didn't watch the whole video, but mounting aero on the uprights isn't new -- F1 was doing it in 1969. It was banned shortly thereafter because it turned out to be really fragile and when it broke the cars tended to go off the track at very high speeds.

What makes them sound so sweet is a simple trick by Ferrari.
These engines have 5 valves, per cylinder; 2 for exhaust and 3 for intake.

Of these 3 intake valves, one is slightly retarded (cam lobe profile is identical to the other 2, but opens and closes a bit later).
This third valve disrupts the incoming air just enough to create pulses, which can be heard as the ear ripping intake shriek.

Other than an unforgettable acoustic signature, the objective is maintaining valve overlap with a limited amount of intake charge.

I am daydreaming about taking the engine and the rear mount transaxle from this 360, building a torque tube, and a saddle type fuel tank, and installing the whole lot in my car.
The project would require a 3D printed intake manifold/plenum to fit in the Miata engine bay, too.
I would add a pair of 2554 turbos and run them at about 6 -8 psi, get 700 Hp and call it a day.

Not exactly like this, but kinda..

Have you ever watched HomebuiltByJeff on Youtube? He's using a 360 engine on his Alfa Romeo restomod, paired to a BRZ manual gearbox, which I believe would fit nicely in a miata.

(video with annoying audio compression artifacts)

Videos with annoying audio compression artifacts make Baphomet cry.

On a wholly unrelated note, have you ever gone down one of those internet rabbit holes, where you're still falling and the bottom is nowhere in sight, and you wind up watching a video that would fit nicely into a Daniel Craig-era Bond film, were it not for the fact that the assassin and the target were singing a catchy tune from a 1977 episode of The Muppet Show, which was a remake of a 1969 sketch on The Ed Sullivan Show, which was a parody of a 1968 hit single by Italian composer Piero Umiliani, who died under mysterious circumstances?

That's where I'm at right now. Trying to stay awake as long as possible, as I'm needing to shift into a more nightwardly schedule, apart from Fridays, when I have an annoyingly early regular conference call related to a project on which millions of dollars are being spent with careless disregard, and which I fear may end in tragedy. And, of course, thinking about the fact that tomorrow you will be replacing the main controller in the transmitter, and then having shrimp tacos, while trying to ride that very fine line between sobriety and not sobriety, as one does not perform surgery upon the transmitter without a dixie cup of whiskey at hand, and yet one needs to be coherent enough to rationally work the problem should one arise.

Anyway...

Hilarious, and surprisingly catchy, theme song for the new Space Force.
