Sad day. The NB is finally letting me know its had enough. Over two days of surgery and I can't bring it back. Poor stock clutch let go and i cant get the trans off. Engine won't turn over for unknown reasons, probably related to stuck transmission. Limped home clutchless and drove it's last few feet into the garage under its own power.
It's been a fantastic 75,000 miles. I'm amazed it's lasted this long.

That body does look pretty sad.
Even the antenna looks like it's given up. (I'm reminded of what happens to the dorsal fin of Orcas in captivity.)
For everything, there is a time. Might be time to move on to the next car.
