Can a mechanical engineer explain to me why this AC compressor bracket needs 6 bolts to hold it into the block? And why they needed to put one of them directly between the compressor and the bracket?

I just spent two days and $12k having them calibrated. This is the first time in years I've trusted what they're telling me.
I can tell you that if you don't install one of the front bolts, engine oil will start leaking out from the seam between the oil pump and the block.

My guess is the thing had issues with stiffness so they kept adding attachment points and mass to shift natural frequencies of the mounting structure to a point where resonance vibration responses wouldn't kill the compressor prematurely.
