Saw a new civic si hatchback today. Holy ****, if you think the Prius rear end is ugly, you gotta see this thing in person. I nearly barfed on my steering wheel. It looks like psychedelic robots designed it.
But your last statement makes it sound awesome... It's hideous though.

Not nearly as ugly as the front end of it, assuming we're talking about the 2017 model. When I was buying a Camry a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't help but make a couple of wisecracks about the thing as it was sitting there in the showroom looking at me, within earshot of a young homosexual couple who were there looking at it.
Do you know how hard it is to visibly raise the ire of a car salesman while you're in the process of buying a car from him? I managed to pull it off.
Honestly, I assumed the damn thing was a Scion when I first saw it.

In this photo are three structural nodes, intended to hold cables above a road in The Hague. The difference is the node on the far left was designed by a human, and on the far right by a computer. More importantly, the node on the far right supports the same weight, but weighs 75% less and is 50% smaller. It makes you think where design and aesthetics will shift toward, in a future where computers design our world.
