I'm dealing with just being a homeowner. Had to redo all the insulation in the basement. There were fiberglass strips pushed into place here, but it did nothing more than fitler in all the fresh air from outside through the various gaps at the foundation
this wasted my entire saturday, and i need to buy a sprayer foam kit to do the two bay windows, cant reach in far enough... and I found a 6 foot by 1" gap around a bay window too, just went directly into the floorboard area and there were old wasps nests. Tuesday I'm doing aeroseal on my ductwork. If you use frothpak or something similar, fill the bottom of the bathtub with hot water, and let the bottles soak for a bit. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1459766817 |
yup. that's what i ordered.
thanks for the pro-tip-of-the-day on warming the bottles. |

Kind of interesting. |

I am wondering if my local machine shop will be willing to attempt to clean this VVT head or not.

It stayed pretty cold; suggesting I was losing a LOT of air before it could even hit the living spaces. Probably could have just done mastic, but we really wanted to make sure we sealed up everything, not just what was exposed in the basement. Noticeable difference right away when we turned the system back on, nearly 400CFM of air going into the livable areas not just the basement. |

What's even more comical is how quickly the bubble caught up to the other car AFTER wrecking...
