For military applications, the ability to deal with wide variations in terrain is desirable. And as yet, legs are a hard technology to beat when it comes to maneuverability and versatility. They didn't need to climb stairs a building because they just blew the side of the building out with the tank shell. Modern, wimpy, politically correct warfare is so inefficient and costs so many of our kids lives. I'm disgusted by politicians.
