My thoughts exactly- we had the same chairs (in blue) in Fletcher Hall back at UF.

Of course, that was more than 10 years ago...

Same chairs that we had in the freshman dorm at Mississippi State University in 2000.

Chair... Oh. Well, I was in dorms 38 years ago, so this was new to me. (Or it's just another thing I've forgotten).

I too had these chairs in my freshman dorm room. Leaned back on a girls laptop. Cracked the screen. Had to buy a new screen on ebay for $50 and install it. lol.

Both of these wrenches are 5/8". The one on the right is actually 5/8", the one on the left is Whitworth 5/8".

Yes.

Whitworth fasteners are the butt of many jokes within the vintage auto community.

I remember those back when I worked in a British car restoration shop. We had a full set of Whitworth spanners and sockets there. That carburetor kit is missing the S.U. jet centering tool and the dashpot piston height indicators. Newer S.U. carbs have a "swinging" needle and did not require the jet to be centered. Some people don't know how to use the rubber hose. Hint: "Listen to the hiss".
