lolz at stuck up bro's that defend stupid house pricing to live in a "cool" part of the country that they can't afford to enjoy.
Keep being poor, while I live in a cheap part of the country that allows me to enjoy the "nice" parts of "expensive" places (in the US and abroad) while still paying my house off by 40 and putting double-digits into my 401k. |

I said "was" because he had a stroke last weekend. Now we don't know what to call him. |

900 Sq.Ft. for over $300k? That's insane.
My house is about 1200 Sq.Ft., and cost me $73k back in 1986. I paid it off in 20 years, and interest rates were 11% back then. Presently researching homes in the suburbs, and I must admit that I'm looking at 2000-2500 ft^2 homes listed at $400-$500k and thinking "holy crap, that's downright cheap!" Housing prices, like all commodity prices, adjust to meet demand. In places where vacancy rates are extremely low and income is extremely high, housing costs are high. In places such as the one Six mentioned, where everyone is poor and you are located a great distance from major centers of commerce and industry, housing costs are very low. Also, this is a random picture thread. http://cdn.windows7themes.net/wallpa...llpaper-04.jpg |

You know, the humble VW Beetle wound up becoming a force to be reckoned with at the Baja 1000 (before the Trophy Trucks showed up), so I could totally see an NA proving its worth at Paris-Dakar.
