And by "camped," I literally mean that they slept on the street alongside the homeless. They were starting to pile up inside GCT yesterday as I was leaving- there was a brigade of around 50 NYPD cops* and several Army soldiers manning the station.

* = note to Braniac: I walked right past a large group of them, easily within tazing / clubbing range, and none of them assaulted me or attempted to deprive me of my civil liberties in any way. I even had a pocketknife on my person at the time, although I did not wield it at them or threaten them with it.

Anecdote:
