I'd really like to see an AWD beetle, I've kinda always had the idea that they would have some really sketchy handling in RWD. BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIE EVER: http://bitsandpieces.us/wp-content/u...-the-bear.jpeg |

BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIE EVER: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qxBXm7ZUTM http://bitsandpieces.us/wp-content/u...-the-bear.jpeg Yippee-ki-yay, motherfucker! Always did like this scene the best: "Fuck it.." "Geronimo motherfucker!" I always lol'd with the chair and computer monitor... Its fun to watch the movie and catch all the little things I never noticed before. When Ellis and John first meet, Ellis is snorting blow off Holly's desk and is totally caught when the two walk in. What I never noticed before was John telling him he missed a spot on his face.. |

It's Christmas time pretty baby, can't you hear the sleigh bells ring?

Seriously all those people should be murdered.
|
I knew three people in HS who got cars. One (chick) got a Esclade, Explorer (to drive around while @ school in Cali) and new ($500) iPhone. Another guy got a 01-04 Mustang GT that was an auto, he ended up wanting a stick and wanted to sell it to get a stick and ended up with a '05+ California Special, he was very very grateful to have it and was a nice guy. Another guy got a used 1st gen Audi TT, he was a nice guy too.

Yes, but if the universe is ever expanding then it must have limits, and therefor can not be infinite.
|
If it's always expanding it wouldn't have a limit. Since you would not be at the end EVER.
|
Right, but if you froze time (time like we know it here on earth) then the universe would have expanded to a quantifiable size, and therefor is not infinite, in fact I think we'd find that it's finite.
|
Good luck freezing time.
|
A current limit does not indicate a future limit. It can be infinitely expanding without be infinite. Limits can change every nanosecond, but one exists, even if unfathomably large.
|
If it never stops expanding, unless we stop time, there is no limit. Fuck your nanoseconds.

During WWII, VW produced a number of jeep-like vehicles for the German army (they were the inspiration for the Type 181 aka "Thing" in later years) and some of the later Kübelsitzwagens were built with AWD. These were quite popular with the Afrika Korps in Tunisia.

This is the kind of thing that honestly keeps me up at night. |

If you were walking down a sidewalk that self generated at a rate of a foot a minute for an infinite amount of time, you could reach the end of it for a given time until it expanded again. Oversimplified, the universe is the same way, but at a much higher speed.
Just because you reach the end of our local universe, doesn't mean it's the end of the universe. |

We are located in our local universe. Which is inside a mega-universe. OBVIOUSLY! Can we just make this a thread or what.

And yes, a thread relating to space would easily fill my day and night here. |

Yeah, somebody make this into a thread ASAP. I'll bring the "Through the Wormhole w/ Morgan Freeman" episodes.
Also: theoretical time travel. OOO YAY |

Well, there is a right answer, we just don't have it. But there are good and bad hypotheses relating to this sort of discussion.

If you are insinuating that my (not really mine, someones) hypotheses is bad, please elaborate.
In short, there is a correct answer out of the nearly infinite wrongs. There are also good and bad hypotheses relating to the workings of the universe. If this thread is named anything but "Space, the final frontier" you all should be killed. |

As in, the human eye only sees a small part of the light spectrum. Bring survival benefit (hard), wait two million years (boring), get answers. Or just get really really cool supertelescopes, have stable psyche. Edit: and hope that the border to nothingress radiates ;) http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload...e-7c15907736e1 |
