Sue Michael Bloomberg! Citibikes were his baby! Ironically, this would not have happened on a CitiBike. I've been riding my own bike in the city for a while, and I'd done a lot of work on the (rim) brakes and am running super-grippy tires in order to provide good stopping power when wet. The downside of this is that in a panic-stop situation in the dry, the front wheel locks instantly and you go flying over the bars. The drum (roller) brakes on the CitiBikes are much better- they provide nice, consistent stopping power in the wet without being suicidally overpowered in the dry. Accident was Jun 4, surgery was last Friday, today's my first day back up and about. 4-6 weeks like this, then physical therapy. The fracture at the base of the metacarpal is particularly bad- it was shattered into several pieces, some of which were rotated and highly displaced in the area where it becomes part of the wrist. The doc says that there's a lot of lost cartilage, and that joint will probably never be back to 100%. Also, this is interesting: https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1403199903 |

Joe that sucks, sorry man. But after rehab it can be surprising how much can be regained. My brother-in-law had the misfortune of a serious elbow fracture from a cycling accident. He was not predicted to regain 100% mobility, but he has.
I notice in the photo that you had abandoned the Hawaiian shirt theme the day of the accident. This could be a sign. |
one time i slipped down the stairs and broke my big toe; I played basketball later that afternoon.

Unless the fat guy plans on actually cooking and eating her, this is irrelevant. So a chick needs a lobster and 25 pounds worth of junkfood after sex? Maybe she should be squatting instead. Who writes this crap? |

They work well and are making their way out into the market now. Expect some more cool development based around these patents. ;) PM me if you have questions about it. |
