Anti-lag / 2step setup
Ok let me get this out of the way before I get destroyed. I Will not be using anti lag ever while driving and I am fully aware of the consequences of anti lag BUUUUTTTT do I wanna show people my car can be super loud and spit flames for no longer then a second at a time on the odd occasion at the flip of a switch? YES!!!!
Now that that is out of the way im on 2.7 and I've messed around the Anti-lag maps trying different values and what not but the best I can get it to do is just be like a revlimmiter at 4k (where I start to mess with the values) and build a bit of boost which is no different then how the launch control is set up which ins't what Im looking for, I could care less about building boost with this feature Im just trying to get the novelty loud pops and flames out of this. Ive tried full ignition cuts with no fuel cuts, vise versa, and in between with no luck. Im sure Im missing something here, is there anyone who has set this up successfully? is there a 'sweet spot' or just the right amount of ignition cuts pared with fuel cuts to get the results I am looking for?
Thanks,
Josh

For tuner studio there is a 'Soft Limit Retard to' value. Somewhere between 0 to -5.00 (5 deg after TDC) is where you'll get the results you want.
I'm assuming there must be something close to this for your ecu.

Yes i have seen gregs video before. The hydra is a table/map (with rpm on y axis and load on x but i could be wrong as i do not have my computer with me right now) not an easy drop down menu like tunerstudio. You enter a duty cycle into each cell (100% being full cut). There are 4 anti lag maps to my memory. Ingition trim, cut , fuel trim, cut. I have tried triming the ignition -4 degrees before with no change just a tad more built boost. Ill try -5 to see if that makes the difference. Thanks for the replies so far!

Your looking for loud pops and bangs or for it to sit at 4k?
If you want to sit at 4k start with ignition and fuel cut at 3500 at 75% then 3750 85% the 95% at 4000k. That would get it stopped there. for ign retard start with -4 and work it in to -8. That should work.
For bangs sit on it longer, and remove the fuel cuts... lol
Oh and not Anti-lag since that's not what your running..... use the Launch control maps, ign cut, fuel cut, ign retard.

I have no real prefrence if it sits at an rpm or what rpm that is i just chose 4k as it is only being set up to use at no more then a second or so at a time. I will try that but i want to use the anitlag maps as i have launch controll set up well right now for the purpose of launching without the loud pops and builds a bit of boost.
