Not interested for this GB right now, but I'll go ahead and ask this since it isn't mentioned. What will shipping be to US people, give or take? Or will it be flat rate to US buyers? Instillation Installation. Any pictures of these rods? Are the sets balanced to one another? IE, is each rod in the set guaranteed to be within some tolerance of the target weight?

Most? What? I would think that would be more like "guaranteed to be balanced to one another within X grams". I'm sure you're well aware of how important balancing can be when building an engine. If I were to buy rods, I'd like to know the set will be very well balanced. Most are sets are guaranteed to all be within 2 grams of one another. Less is better of course. Can you not offer them in sets that are within 2 grams of one another? (ie, not + or - 2 grams of target weight as that's would be a 4 gram spread.)

Pat - I've personally purchased 3 other kinds of Miata rods for various engines I built for my old Drag car. ($600+$1000 Rods) None of them were guaranteed, and all recommended I have my entire rotating assembly balanced by a professional builder.
I've also had a set of cheaper guaranteed within 2 grams rods in my hands and I can assure you on my scale they were not, and that the owner had to ship them back at his own expense and then pay shipping again if he was infact to get another set.
I'm not going to offer a guarantee on something that I can't get backed by the company producing them, and I am not going to promise something I have no intentions of delivering on. (As in the example above)
Hope this makes sense..

Just spoke to my Rod producer and he told me this..
Their Weight control is within ± 2 grams.
Sounds pretty close to what I have seen in the past when looking at the sets on my scale.

Just for kicks I weighed the (ETD) rods I bought from you last spring and each one is 525grams with the rod bolts. No weight variance in any of them.
Head/valve issues aside, what would be considered a maximum safe RPM with these rods? When I build my motor it is primarily for a strong SM2 car. Our longer courses have me constantly hitting the rev limiter and a thousand or more RPM would really help.

Yup.. Rods are quoted without bolts, which is normal for the industry Lots of different Rod bolt choices and they all come in different weights. One of my old Miata engines had $20 each rod bolts * 8 but they were super strong. Never needed them, just wanted the extra insurance cause I was STUPID! They were 1000hp Bolts

I've rev'd a set of rods from the same supplier we use in one of my B18 Honda engines to 10000rpm at 600hp. I was drag racing and needed the extra RPM as I had the wrong tranny on the car. Ran it like that all day, and put the motor in a local guys street car. Still running 2 years later!

I won't say their rods are crap, but I will stand behind our rods as been an excellent rod and will put them head to head against any other off the shelf Miata Rod, but at 1/2 the price
Plus the sets are in Canada and ready to ship to you in Quebec, or to our US customers (95% of our business is USA)
