Mine should be here Thursday so neayh neayh you can keep your stinky Adaptronic :P
Wiring? Sounds like good times But seriously have soldering gun, will travel. I need to wire mine as well though it should go quickly.
So I guess that motor in Houston did not happen eh?

Travis thanks for the updates. I read through the NB(A) install instructions and that will be helpful. Got a couple of questions:
1. The included fuel map is for the stock injectors, correct? If so, since I am running 550cc injectors, I should scale the map first to compensate, correct?
2. Will the ECU come with the latest firmware, or should we plan to flash the firmware you sent with the zip file?
Thanks.

Yea you need the scale it before you try to run it. I'm getting my 600's dialed in right now, so I should be able to get you moving with your 550's
The ECU will probably come with a couple of firmwares back, but I never checked to see what they had loaded. I would recommend flashing either way just to make sure.

Just idled my 600cc's from Deatschworks at 15.5:1. It took me at maximum 10 minutes to get it there. I bumped my timing up at idle so it is running 100 RPM over what I like it to, but I just have to reduce my minimum IAC value or close up my idle screw just a tad to fix that.
I'll have this MAP done tomorrow to help people out with their injector setups. I will be caring the Deatschworks 600cc's with solid basemaps for the Adaptronic in the near future, and I could not be happier with what I have. My idle is just as stable as the stock injectors maybe better. Looking at this flow sheet, I can see why.

These are high impedence. I really can't wait to get a fresh start on it tomorrow. I'm interested at how far I can push them. I had them up at 16:1, but the idle was a little rocky.

I did put in dead time correction, which I think is added to the value. My indicated value from the table was .6-.7 ms (estimate don't have it infront of me) and the dead time indicated is 1.35ms so thats about right.

Mine arrived this afternoon. The timing was perfect as I had just finished the last of the mechanical jobs for the engine installation. The IAT and MAP are wired. Next I'll be doing the in-cab installation and some cleanup wiring under the dash. Hopefully I will have it running tonight or tomorrow.
So now that you mention it I was wondering about dead time correction. There is a similar setting in the Megasquirt. What does Adaptronic recommend for RX7 550cc injectors? I think I used 0.9-1.0 ms in the MS IIRC.

Dead time changes from manufacturer to manufacturer. I could show you my deatschworks correction, but I don't think it really means much the to RX injectors.
I got my car to idle flat at 825 +/-15rpm with an AFR from 15.1-15.6. It seems to move around alot at low RPMs. I guess its getting slow enough each pulse moves it around a little bit. It also lands dead flat to. The Adaptronic idle control is unreal when you get it setup the way it should be.
