Your honest opinion...
I am not a ricer but while searching for a bentley grill for my friends dads chrysler 300, I came across this.

I don't think they look to bad. Probably would clean up the *** a bit.
What do you guys think?

Darked out lights like that only look good on a moderately dark car.
Black, green, blue... and it just doesn't make it unless you're going for a very specific "look".
On the other hand, I think they look even worse on very lightly colored cars... like white, yellow, etc...
But on a moderately dark car... grey, silver, red, very nice.
When it comes to exterior mods, a lot of people don't ever "think it through" or have a plan. They see something they like in a picture on the internet, or on a store shelf and say "COOL, that looks pretty good." Then they put it on their car... then next week they see something else cool they have to have and put that on. When you get four or five "things" that looked cool in a store on a car with no thought process or "goal", it ends up looking like ****.
Are you going for some sort of specific "look" or are these things that just "look cool".
Those lights with some dark-titanium rims, stock front airdam, low-pro headlights, and a black rollbar... sweet. I'd also paint the brake calipers black. Don't forget a dark license plate frame and flat-black any part of your exposed muffler. I'd stay away from an exhaust-tip with those too... just the blacked pipe sticking out. Chrome IMHO isn't going to match the lights. <<<That's an example of how you think it through. It might not be your cup-o-tea, but my 2cents is that exterior mods need to really be thought out.

I have them on my mariner blue 91. I think they look pretty good, but as mentioned by others, but only on a dark color. Another friend of mine has a brilliant black, and he got the clear version of them. We both agreed that the black tail lights would be too much with the black paint.

^ I wouldnt ask him to do that. Too much work just for a picture.
As for someones question about the look im going for. No specific look. Just want it to look sleeker and cleaner.
I'm actually trying to stay stock looking to not attract attention but its become awfully difficult. The naca duct that should be done this weekend, isnt helping either.
