Will this HD roll bar fit?

Will this HD roll bar fit?
I scooped up what I think is a HD HCHTDD M1 locally. It is from a NA that had a hard top. It has 1.75" tubes and a welded harness bar. It has seatbelt tabs and curved rear bars.
I have a 2000 with an OEM glass rear window soft top. Can I cut out the harness bar to make my top clear? I have read the top will also contact the rear bars. Is this accurate? Some people say the only difference between the M1 and M2 is the harness bar.
Does anyone know how difficult it would be to use this bar? Would I be better off selling this one and buying a HD HCHTDD M2?
TIA

That looks like an NA HDHCHT to me. I think you're going to run into big problems with the rear legs. This is mine with an NM HDHC non-HT, which has the straight rear legs:
If you look at the edge of the top, you can see where the corners by the window are flipped up to go around the bar. That's as far back as you can put the bar if you want the window to lay flat.
I would sell it and buy a proper NB HDHC. You may or may not want the HT version -- the tradeoff is that in order to use the side latches, the main hoop needs to be further backwards, which means it can't go as high. If you're not going to use it with a HT, get the non-HT version. If you're going to have a permanently-mounted HT, you can also go with the non-HT version, because there's room to get bolt-on places in there, just not the latches.
You can also use a HT with the non-HT version if you just skip using the side latches, which is what I do. Clearly that's less desirable from a hardtop retention standpoint, but it doesn't seem to have been a problem.

I know the bar I want is a Hardcore Hardtop Double Diagonal M2.
I believe I have the Hardcore Hardtop Double Diagonal M1. Any way to verify?
I just want to know if this one will clear if I cut out the harness bar. I would prefer to use this one since I dont want to deal with buying, selling, and shipping.
