When buying used injectors...
I know that a lot of you guys buy used injectors from other applications, mainly because its a lot cheaper.
Just to make a suggestion, always have your injectors serviced before putting them in your car.
Orings can rip or tear on installation or removal which can cause bad sealing or fuel leaks.
Pintle caps (small plastic cap on some injectors that creates a seat for the lower oring to seal, or produces a particular spray pattern) can get brittle and break.
Top Feed fuel injectors have small filters at the fuel entrance. These filter can disolve, rip, tear or just be really dirty causing problems with the performance of the injector
Coil Testing is also important. Coils can go bad just sitting on a shelf, and then the injector is not fixable. Making sure the injector is creating the right voltage and ohms is very important.
Make sure wherever you have your injectors serviced (Preferably Deatschwerks but thats not why im posting) can account for all of the above items. Ive been doing the servicing here at Deatschwerks for 2 years and I cant express enough the importance of keeping your fuel system clean, especially for Turbo cars.
Any questions feel free to email me.

Used fuel injectors can stick when sitting outside of the car for long periods of time, mainly due to deposits inside the injector preventing the pintle from moving. We pulse every injector that goes out our doors with an oil blend to prevent this from happening. But I would definatly say it would be better to have a set serviced when you are about ready to install them.

I've had 3 sets of 460cc Rx7 injectors serviced. The first 2 sets came back, pre-clean numbers were perfect. I was dubious. Then I sent the 3rd set in, and one of the injectors pre-flowed at 385cc. Injector cleaning is an absolute must.

I've bought injectors from deatschwerks for both of my subaru's and recieved great service. quick question: the 650's on my 18g setup worked great for 6 months then really started screwing around. I would get lean/rich/lean/rich in different cylinders. Took them out, put in stockers and they worked fine. To this day I dont know what coulda happened to the 650's but I sold them, and ordered 750's due to going to a 20g turbo. the 750's worked flawlessly from day 1 to the time I took em off.....

What is the average turn around time on a set of injectors? If I sent them out tomarrow, when could I expect to see them again (Birmingham Alabama, 35094). Im in the process of a rebuild, and seeing as its cheap, and I will probably be n/a for another 6 months or so, might as well have the injectors cleaned and tested. Also have a set of RX7 injectors I should probably send in to be cleaned while Im doing.
