Default What's the current best flavor of n/a exhaust?

I know Emilio said there's no point to anything but the RB header.

What do we do downstream?

Important:

1) Weight
2) Power (lol power on an n/a BP lol)
3) Cost

I'm kindof liking the Enthuza XR (at least, on paper) because cheapish and light. Probably loud as ****, which... is fine. But what do i do between header and that?

How awful is the $380 Spec Miata Borla header-back setup?

I have a RB header and flyin Miata the rest of the way. Not too loud, but it sounds lovely.

This thread has some good info on it. I'm "meh" about my racing beat exhaust but I also have an exhaust leak somewhere which accounts for most of the obnoxious sound.

I've seen many different exhaust setups as well as owned a couple myself, and Enthuza is always the way to go. Jason should be able to hook you up with a high-flow cat to put in between the header. Or a test pipe if you hate the panda bears....

I have an RS3 and really like it. Fairly light, looks good, sounds good.

Nothing. Just planning. Thinking i want a slightly more track-oriented version of Emilio's street car, in NB1 form.

Any DB limits at the tracks you are planning to frequent?

Putnam, Gingerman, Mid Ohio...

I think Spec Miata db would be fine.

For that matter... Borla Spec Miata setup?

I've got the same setup. It is one of the few Miatas that I've heard and thought sounded pretty good. It's definitely a great street car setup.

I really like how the Roadster Sport 3 exhaust with the RB header sounds, but 1) don't know anything about power compared to other options, and it's certainly heavier than the Enthuza XR, for example.

I'll probably be selling a FM 2.5 exhaust in the near future. Pretty sure the rear section is identical to one of the enthusas

Observe : normally aspirated catback comparison

Entuza wins.

My Goodwin Roadster sport 3 is "eh". Innocuous sound at cruise, makes the N/A BP "I'm trying to make power dammit!" noise when you give it the beans. Still would rather have an Enthuza 2.5.
