Default What parts do you want in carbon fiber

I am going to venture into doing my own carbon fiber parts. I have a lengthy list of things I want to do for myself and if I can get it figured out I would do small runs to sell a few parts pretty much just to make the next part mold affordable. Not looking to make anything currently available minus hard tops in the end game.

What would you like to see? Exterior, interior, etc.

OK so mirrors would be a fun and fairly easy endeavor. I assume you are wanting a mirror that stays close to the car and stream lined? Visibility out of those style mirrors are usually really poor. Are you wanting something similar to these? Garage Vary side view mirrors MAZDA - MiataRoadster - High-performance customer service...and parts for Roadsters
Mirror wise I was thinking towards something similar to these. Craft Square touring competition mirrors - MiataRoadster - High-performance customer service...and parts for Roadsters

The under tray would be fairly easy to do. Would be something worth considering. When I get to that point I will kick it around but cost point vs other material options might not be worth it. I will take it into consideration. Obviously smaller parts will get priority as I figure the whole process out. Rounding up hardware to get started.

Where would the best place to locate those mirrors? Would you want them in oem location?

Psyber, I am looking for items not available. But I am in the learning process and looking for the easiest to do to get my experience up

I see what you mean. Are you thinking something for the roll cage mount or is there a particular mounting place on the body to streamline it against or something that will house it and be aerodynamic just for the mirror?

On a different note.
Does anyone manufacture a plate to mount the universal mount race mirrors? The craft square ones are 600 dollars... if one were to locate a plate to replace oem mirrors and accommodate mounting of the universal mirrors it would be significantly cheaper than those for that style.
