Want to give a fair price for some parts to a friend
Hey all,
I have very rough Ideas what I want to sell some parts to some friends without screwing myself or them. I am curious what some of you might sell these for with the given information and/or buy them for.
I have a 97 bottom end attached to an 01 head with ARP head studs. I thought $800 was fair?
Lightweight Flywheel for $250 separate or $200 with the engine.
I have a CXRacing Unequal Length Header. I asked $250 for but my friend countered at $175 If you haven't seen one before in person, it's kind of funny how much it makes the BP sound like an EJ.
I have a 90-93 MS3Pro PNP that I asked for $850. He thought it was high but I thought it was a little low.
Finally I have a Kraken lowmount I asked $850 as well. Didn't get much response on that one.
Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a ton all!

How important is the money for you?
I take the line, for friends as opposed to people I know, 'if you want it, pay me what you think is fair and it is yours'. OTOH, if you really need the money, set a fair market-oriented price for all. If they are good friends they will understand the reason for your pricing, if they don't/can't then they probably aren't close enough to you for you to worry what they think.
