Value of a Roller?
Guys, what's the current value of an NA rolling chassis?
I have a spare chassis I am going to either scrap or sell, but have no clue on their value nowadays.
It's a '91 with 140k on the body. Driver's side door, fender and rear quarter were dented in by a Winnebago in a parking lot and the trunk and finish panel were smashed too.
Very minor surface rust on the rear quarter about halfway up where it got hit, but the rockers and the rest of the car are super clean.
I don't mind scrapping it, but with the clean rockers I wasn't sure if it would be worth something to anyone.

They've gone for free before and still gone to the scrapper.
It's all dependent on who in the area needs one. If you get a local who just smashed his car up but wants to keep his drivetrain for whatever reason, yeah, it can be worth a couple hundred dollars. But if that's not the case, they're generally worth more in scrap.
And I'd say they're much closer to $300 for the right buyer, I've seen complete miatas with crappy paint and tops going for $500-$700.
