Updated car pics
Being n/a, i spent the last year or so getting to stuff i put off on the car for a while. i had a friend towing his miata from ATL to LA last year. he picked me up a hardtop on his way through texas (thanks ike!). i found a rear bumper that was better than mine. i also bought some stuff like TSIs and other items.
i had the hartop, bumper and TSIs painted and cc'd. i had the diff rebuilt. new clutch plates in the mazdaspeed diff. i also received a pair of '95 m seats (with the headrests) and i reupholstered them in black leather.
i added a sparco steering wheel. my wife has sparco usa as a client and they sold her the steering wheel i wanted at cost.
i bought the watanabes and run them daily on yokohama r-comp tires.
added a new HU with ipod controller.
added an all metal radiator.
added 440cc injectors and have tuning the car with the link

thanks.
yah, those are the watanabes joe (r*speed) had on his own car. he sold them to a mutual friend of ours. that person was transferred overseas this year, so i jumped at the chance to "keep them in the family". 8# magnesium wheels. gets a lot of up-close looks. they are 14x6.5 +18. i rolled the fenders to make them fit. it also gave me time to have my SSRs refurbished.
i'm on fm springs(old-style)

learning to tune the link with 440s helps me when i add the turbo. they also respond a lot better on top with the ported head.
the kit is awaiting the turbo and a few braided lines. thats' it.
i's still contemplating going to a 99 or 00 engine and keeping it n/a.
in the meantime, it's still a fun car as it is. it's really only worth anything to me. it has a lot of sentimental value for me.

thanks everyone.
the tires are yokohama a0032r, 195-60-14, yes a little tall. the springs are old-style fm.
the m-seats were a basket case. they were given to me by a friend. because of my familiarity with furniture and upholstery, i was able to save salvage the patterns. a co-worker builds most of our upholstery designs, so i paid him on the side to do them. i shaped the seat bottom foam a little to fit me better. the centers are black perforated leather with leather bolsters and sides. the feel and smell great. it's definitely a unique look. very subtle, which is how like to keep the style of the car.
