rx7 drivetrain....Found this on craigslist. Not associated with sale/seller/etc... if memory serves me... its the right year stuff right? Might be nice upgrade for someone.

Nope...in fact, Braineack just posted in the Off-Topic section about how he goofed and accidentally bought a Turbo II diff. instead of the naturally-aspirated RX-7 diffs.

That's the stuff that "big power" Miatas end up moving too. It requires an adapter plate, resplined clutch disc, trans support and bellhousing mod for the trans. The diff requires some kind of bracketry to control the pinion, and a shortened drive/propeller shaft. Then there's getting the half/drive shafts to the drive wheels - cut and respline for a Miata hub, or used 5 lug TII hubs. Lots of work. And I think that stuff could be found for much less, but still reasonable price given mileage.

Haha, I e-mailed the seller asking to see if I could take measurements for a 7 motor/miata tranny hookup.
