miata mounts looks like they'd be really easy to make our own, kind of like this.

how are those mm engine mounts? I bought a set assuming some real discomfort.
I wonder if melting mounts is a problem for everyone, or just the FM kit. I assume the bell DP has the same route.

I can imagine my downpipe glowing bright red after on the gas, full throttle, for 20 seconds at a time just cooking everything. I had to replace the mount and a poly exhaust hanger since the last event. I HATE replacing engine mounts!
I've come to the realization that tracking a car is brutal on everything on the car. I swear, my car is on jackstands and I'm replacing components more than it's on the ground. It get old sometimes, but then blowing by normally faster cars on the track makes it all worth while.

The mmr's do have more NVH but i have tunned out alot of it with MS so far. Strangely accel was not one of those areas for me more caosting etc. I hope to have the rear view viewable at all times before long . Shifts are solid and alot more percise (no more missing the 2nd-3rd shift under high laod etc). The harshness felt on the posterior etc with spirited driving is not to horrible though, so i wouldn't down grade them for comfort to much on my scale of things.
