Typo - that should be 19.5 fins per inch.

The fin density and the 6.5 mm distance between tubes may be major reasons for the high cooling efficiency.

Just curious - was the fin pitch optimization done on-track with or without the a/c condenser present?

Have you ever heard of a test that showed too many fins per inch caused reduced cooling, or is it "moar is better until it costs too much"?

Testing done in lab. Past 20fpi you start to get boundary layer conflict between the fins as they are nearly vertical. You'll notice the fin is nearly straight initially. Part way in the corrugations begin. This is to re-energize boundary layer flow as the air mass slows and pressure drops. Pretty neat tech.

Without too much thread hijack, I'm interested in pre-ordering the radiator but would also like to get a few other things at the same time. One of which, your Crank Damper, shows out of stock. Will more be in soon? What would you suggest I do? I'd PM, but don't see the option.

Just placed my order. You guys are saving my car right and left. Drive shaft, alignment bolts...now radiator and then perhaps tecnas.

I am suspecting my mishimoto is leaking at the fill neck.

I know I should email, but I'm probably not the only one wondering and it is really more of a curiosity than need... any ETA on when these will ship?

ETA is unknown because of the port snafu. They departed Asia over a week ago.

Ebola quarantine? That means they will be held at the port for at least 21 days.

I found out my old [now removed] boost tubes were rubbing my Koyo radiator, so rather than risk it I ordered a SuperMiata crossflow last night. It looks like the new upper hose location will work nicely with the re-route, which is nice.

Hopefully not an Ebola quarantine coming from Asia, perhaps SARS?

Any updates on these? Mainly I just want to make sure I'll have it before the week of thanksgiving since I'll have plenty of time to install it.

Anything? I know the ports in CA are having issues, but I'm seeing articles talk about delays in terms of days and weeks, not months. Is there more to the story?

I've been putting off buying a radiator and it looks like I missed out on this batch. When do you expect to have these available again?

I asked the question when they sold out in November and I believe he was talking February for the next order. I can't find the correspondence at the moment. I'm also on the ballot for a radiator.

How many do you typically get in a batch? I am honestly just curious about it.
