Thumbs down Stupid question P/S

So I just snapped my accessory belts. If I get a new one thats short so it doesnt fit on the PS pump would that work as a lazy depower?

No, you'd then be fighting the pump and hydraulic pressure...which is way worse than a regular depower.

Drain the fluid, or do it the FM way and be really happy. I just cut and capped the metal lines after turning it both ways a few times to remove all fluid.

Don't forget to adjust the rack slack bolt when you do the FM depower too, I fought against the hard steering for over a year before I figured out I was supposed to back the thing out a bit.
