Ive done the same thing, I dynamatted my whole interior. Noticed a HUGE difference in heat. Even when the car was factory i was dieing of heat from the exhaust and since i put the dynamat in with the turbo + 3" exhaust i cant even notice the heat. Only down side is that it makes the car car heavier.

The car is much tighter, quieter, and absolutely rattle free now.
Feels like test driving a brand new car off the lot.
And, I drove for a whole day - on a blistering hot day - yesterday, and the car was cool..
