Default Stock injector pintle caps?

So I had taken my stock injectors out a while ago and swapped them with 460's. I want to put them back in so I can plug my stock ECU back in, cause there is this issue I am having and I want to figure out if it's the MS or an engine problem. Anyway, my stock injectors are missing the little brittle black plastic end caps (pintle caps?) and I was wondering what would happen if I put them in without these. They don't look like they do anything...and they are different than the caps on my 460's. If I need these, where would I be able to purchase these?

1.6 or 1.8?

If 1.6... you can have my stock injectors for a few bucks + shipping. Not sure the pintles do much beyond protect the needle valve thingy.

So 1 more try cause I'm probably gonna put these back in in about an hour...
If I put these injectors in without the caps, is something gonna fly apart and F my motor up?

NAPA has the caps. You just have to bring a part number from their website, because the imbecile clerks won't be able to find it.

So do you think I need these caps to be able to run the car off the stock injectors? I couldn't find the caps on the Napa web site. The only thing it might be under was called the "o-ring kit."
