Sound System anyone? [56k no no]
Just wanted to show you all what I have done to my sound system.
First off this is what I look at all day. Simple. Nothing to big, as you can see my beltronics radar detector in the top of the picture.
Here is my trunk set up. Its a Kicker L7, Very good. Takes up alot of room, but I like it. I was going to get a custom inclosure but this is nice to take out when ever I like to autocross, I loose about 50lbs+. I never have it up, but if I needed to, I could blow all the bolts off the miata. Behind it you can see the Tsunami Cap behind it. Its a 1.2 Farad, My lights never dim when I have the bass up, definitly reccomend for such a small battery. It also has blue led's makes the trunk look pretty cool. (They didnt have red )
Closer picture of the Cap.
Here is the amp. Its a 5 channel kicker, so it powers all the speakers (Infinitys in the door and Polk in the headrest) and the sub very well.
This is the headunit. Its a 3.5 JVC, it actually plays DVD's too, which is pretty nice. I was going to get a double din but as you can see the shift **** would get in the way, it would over power the dash, and IMHO its ricey-ish. Flip out would get in the way of the vents and controls, and this screen is perfect for such a small car.
(Can see bass control is very low and my mute button for beltronics radar.)
My JVC has IPOD integration module so it pretty much takes all the functions of the ipod which is nice. I decided to hide it in the center console because, well, I have a pink ipod and it really doesn't need to be shown. Haha
Horray Old School Mini!
Last but not least, my favorite part of my car. Tom Matano signed the trunk of my car. If you do not know who Tom Matano is, he is one of the lead designers of the Miata. Many people want me to sell the car, but this is the one part of my car that makes me want to keep the car for the rest of my life.

The guy designed the car that we have our own forum for and we still dump alot of money into. Hes the guy that have created a central meeting ground for people who would normally never meet unless under certain circumstances of owning the same car.
He's a saint! (Well wouldnt really say that but hes a really really good guy!)

JVC is awesome, I love it. I thought it would be a problem, because I have heard alot of bad things about it, but Its a great headunit.
No im not worried about anybody breaking in. Cant get into my trunk without a crowbar or key, and I have a hardtop on.
