Default Short Nose Crank

I am looking through the Mitchell Collision and Estimating and Reference guide. It listed the second style of crank pulley for the 1.6 liter motor starting at 209446, this is from Mazda. I know some people have asked in the past at what point did they change over to the newer crank style...hope this isn't old news!

Is this a question? And yes, we know they are different.

It's actually 1991.5. We have a salvage car sitting in the back, that missed the long nose upgrade by a couple thousand cars. It was built in August of 1990.

See this is why I never talk.
Everything I "know" is usually wrong.
