Default Replacing diff question

So I've got my LSD ready and a miata diff to put it in. The miata diff is adjusted and set up well already, so I was wondering, if I mark all over with a paint pen the bearing caps and adjustment screws, would there be any reason I can't swap the LSD in and line it back up and not worry about getting it re-adjusted?

I would say that if you pulled the bearings, replaced the open diff with the torsen on the same ring gear and reassembled in the same location, you should be golden.

Ok, I'll do the paint test to check the teeth contact when I put it together. I don't have any of those fancy micrometers and dial gauges and stuff though.
