I just installed the Gripforce version of that same clutch (I heard more positive things about gripforce than XTD, although they are probably the same). Installed it last weekend, been driving on it all week so far. I am not turbo yet, but it easily holds the stock power for now. The biggest issue is the drivability of it, even though I haven't been through the complete 500 miles break in, so far it is more of an on/off switch. It shudders when you try to slip it too long and is very grabby. It also has fairly early engagement compared to the stock clutch (engages/disengages right near the beginning of pushing the clutch in).
It uses a standard exedy pressure plate that has been painted over to help hide this, but the exedy logo is still noticeably printed on it. The throwout bearing is an NTN, the standard brand of bearings that came with the car, but I didn't try to identify the pilot bearing. All of these are good parts, its the disc itself that is different and a non-standard piece. It seems to be ok and grabs well, so I think its a decent package.
Overall, its a good deal for the extra clamping power, even if it is all from the disc itself. Saying that the pressure plate has extra clamping power is BS, the pedal pressure is the same as stock. The only reason I can verify all of this is because the clutch I pulled from my car was installed by the PO right before I purchased the car and all the parts are exactly identical except the clutch disc itself. The PO used a standard Exedy kit, and it is all identical to what I put in. On my invoice it also says Exedy pressure plate, so I doubt its any higher pressure.
