Cool noob here! relocation suggestions

i just picked up a 04 mazdaspeed mx5 and i planned to route the airfilter to where the snorkel begins and my only problem is the plastic plate with the ?fuses? attached to it. i know im mistaken in what its called but i was wondering if anyone had any ideas or pictures of what you did for relocating that plate. or maybe just some pictures of where you located your air intake. thanks in advance

-OR-
1) Eliminate plastic whatsit, save the screws for the relays
2) Build airbox thingus
3) ???
4) Profit with new cold air box with relays screwed to the side

You usually need a crane to get it out.

Relocation will cause the CEL to come on and the warranty to be voided. You will also never pass emission inspection again. Would not recommend you do that.
