NA steering wheel question
Hi all,
I've been looking to change the NA square of a steering wheel with something more modern looking such as a NB Nardi or a Speed 3 steering wheel. I've looked around and don't think anyone has done it before, but could be totally wrong about that. I want to maintain the airbag since i don't have a 5 point harness, but have a Sparco sprint seat. Let me know your thoughts! Would anyone know if the spline pattern would be the same?

Could you further explain why with the difference in the seat will render the airbag is well "useless"? The largest change I've noticed is that with the Sparco, i'm lower in height relative to the floor pans. The airbag's purpose would be ensure my face doesn't hit the steering wheel if i'm not mistaken. If i were to go with a airbag less steering wheel what else would need to be done so that in a collision my face doesn't meet the steering wheel per say.

Belts and bags work together, factory 3 point with an air bag. A 5 point would dictate removal of the bags......depending on the size of your ***** a hans is optional. Yes they are better, but it wasn't that long ago they didn't even exist and people still raced
I'm personally ok with a 5/6 point on the street, quite a few folks on here will loose their minds at the mention of it but think nothing of slinging a leg over a motorcycle.....it's all a matter of what is an acceptable amount if risk to you.
