NA Miata Splitter - Done Dirt Cheap!
Hey guys I made this video after a lot of people requested it who follow Origins Garage on social media. Thought it may help some of you who want a good head start on making your own splitter for an NA.

Or I'll move them to the bumper beam. Again, I'm experimenting and it's easily switchable. This bumper passes the 10ft test but it's no beauty queen.

Steel cable is usually the preferred support since it can collapse upward if you scrape something. It's not as pretty as turnbuckles, but it's really cheap and durable. Turnbuckles can mess stuff up if you try to compress them into plastic.
Having a video with a template/measurements is a nice idea though. Maybe I'll finally get around to starting mine.
edit - Not trying to beat a dead horse on the bash train. Just think it's worth noting some design issues for people's future builds

The first steep driveway is gonna punch the turnbuckles through the bumper skin. Steel cable is usually the preferred support since it can collapse upward if you scrape something. It's not as pretty as turnbuckles, but it's really cheap and durable.
