Default MSPNP: Cooling Fan Won't Shut Off

Hey All, I have a very bizarre issue with my MSPNP and Tuner Studio all on my 1.6 racecar. The fans weren't switching on at the track, right after the MSPNP install (it worked fine on the factory ECU). I thought they should still kick on with the factory thermoswitch regardless of the TS settings? Just to play it safe, I added the "Coolant > 180" setting in the TS settings when we got home. However, now the fans are always on when the car is on. I've tried a series of values in TS but nothing will shut the fans off now - except unplugging them.

I've read several threads about this, but they either have no follow up for what the fix was - or they had a secondary issue like a hacked up wiring harness or bridged fans. Essentially, additional variables. My car was a direct PNP setup, no hacked up anything. Any help is appreciated.

I tried 2, 5, and 10 and even 20. No change.

the thermoswitch controls the fans like normal, if you want the MS to take control, you must remove the mechanical activation device.

I did not expect that. In the DIY Autotune writeup they mentioned the thermo switch or the MS would send an "on" signal that would override the "off" signal of either device, but still only at temp. I'll disconnect and see what it does. Thank you! I would have scratched my head for weeks on this otherwise.

Sorry for the delayed reply, thermo switch disconnecting still did nothing. Fan stayed off all weekend at the track.

@Ben - what files do you need me to post? I don't have any logs because they won't allow a laptop in the car around the track, however here is a link to my current tune on my Google Drive - LINK

You can just take a log of it being on all the time. In your garage.

Will a no engine-load log show us anything on this? What should I look for, if so?

Well it might tell us why the fan is on all the time. And if you let it warm up enough it might tell us why the can isnt turning on.

So I copied settings for both ALED and WLED to each be Coolant > 180, and that solved it. Thanks for the help everyone!! I grabbed that from the other thread already in existence, even though his problem was always off fans. Thought I should post up the solve!
