Momo Start 2007 Install
I just found a great deal on a start 2007 seat with the momo side-mount universal sliders, and I was wondering if it would fit in the miata, particularly if I wanted to bolt it to the floor? I tried searching, but was only able to find info on the pre-2007 bottom-mount seats.
Help?

I was able to bolt mine to the floor with just some steel bar drilled in the right spots and bent to bolt up to the OEM mount points. I used the momo static mount adapters. I had to do a bit of massaging to the trans tunnel and on the drivers side I had to pull the foam out of the door on the top so it wouldn't hit the seat too hard. Passenger side I just left the seat a bit off center so it just touches the door.
I just noticed you're 6'2" you likely won't have to massage the trans tunnel, I only had to do it because I'm short.

I got a few shots, only one of them is really any decent. The seats are already in the car so it's hard to get good shots.
One thing I forgot to mention. I had to bring the side mount adapters to a machine shop to have them bent into straight 90* pieces. You don't have any extra width in a Miata other than the seat itself.
