Nope, never got a good launch. All of my 60fts were 2.1ish, and I was running some beat RA1s but still, I should be at least 1.8 considering I hit that twice on Azenis with no launch control. I was pretty pissed when it started raining, I think a few more launches and I would have gotten it down with changing the RPMs. Lets just say my times today were pretty disappointing, I still haven't beaten my best ET from last year.

I have a feeling if you knew how to grip the shifter like a real man, you wouldn't have so much trouble into first. Looks like you are trying to give that thing a reach-around.

also are you shifting at like 4K?

Im not the only dork that misses third

Somehow...probably awesome driving skills and **** - I got a 1.9 60" on worn out all seasons. I think it was a fluke.

Do you mean 3rd gear? Its not really a problem anymore since I fixed my clutch issue, thats the only time I have mis shifted since then.

And no, I shift around 7200k. I short shifted the second run in that video because I fucked up the launch and didn't feel like finishing the pass WOT.

The first run that I bogged was at 3400, the second run with loads of wheel spin was 3700, third run that slightly bogged was 3500. I set it to 3550 and went to run again but it started raining. I think 3600 might be the magic number with these tires. Drag radials are next on my list.

BTW, I switched my launch control settings to fuel/spark cut at -10deg, and now I build around 6psi versus full wastegate pressure with spark only at 5deg like I previously had. Thanks for posting those settings guys!

Still have a Torsen (my 2nd), and its about 80% clutch drop. I should be slipping it though.
