Personally, after owing a long string of super fast street cars with questionable utility, I'm perfectly happy with the blend of comfort, civility and fun-to-drive factor of my stock ND2.
I'm feeling the same way. Already did the midpipe and will probably install a HoM exhaust and call it a day.

Long legs, 6-3" (1.9m). Telescoping helps but still not enough to have my arms in natural bent position and legs not crunched. Seat rails lower so I'm not staring at visor all the time.
Power mods aside, I have really enjoyed taking out unsprung weight. My 205/50/16 wheel/tire combo is 8 lbs lighter than stock per corner, the Wilwood 2 pc front rotors are 4.5 lbs lighter per corner, and the front LBBK drops another 5.5 lbs per corner.
I wonder if the BBR kit really needs octane to have the most benefit. I really want to run E85. My "track" 2019 doesn't even have a rollbar yet and the first track day is next weekend. I want to run it stock, then add groups of parts at a time. I would have already put the roll bar in, but Moti has been delayed by the 'rona, of course. I haven't been on track in two years now. 2020 was the year that my work schedule FINALLY lined up with track days, so I didn't have to take vacation, and then corona happened.
I had an absolute blast at Laguna Seca last October with my completely stock 30AE. Yeah, the springs are soft and it heels over like a boat in a storm, but you don't really feel it from the driver's seat. The car had enough power and cornering capability to stay ahead of some pretty modified NA/NBs (yeah, I was in E due to lack of aftermarket rollover protection, but I was playing with some decidedly non-stock cars). With the right touch behind the wheel, the ND2 punches well above it's weight class.
If you actually appreciate the products we offer and information we share, we would appreciate not sharing 6 year old photos of prototypes and issuing what sounds like a product release promise from us.
We work damn hard not to raise unreasonable expectations. No promises, no specific ETA. We hope to have certain products ready and share development info but that's about it. In either case, tecna won't look anything like that.
I know its just a harmless little joke to you but it really undermines work we have busted our *** on for the last 2 years on. A little joke thats easy to type can be far more destructive than you might think to struggling little nice business like ours that support equally niche enthusiast communities.

On a ND note, I forked over my hard earned coin to have the dealership install android auto today, only to discover they installed the pax dash pad all wrong & I fixed it my damn self like I shoulda oughta in the first place.
Some chucklenuts thought this panel gap was acceptable.

Since then we've gone through evaluation with a few other suppliers. We have settled on a supplier in Taiwan, aluminum fixed-length monotube. Much of the evaluation process has not been "can you make the shock?" but, "how will you make them?" Process control. But we're currently at a stage where we should have the first set of prototypes here within the next 6 weeks and maybe production shocks on the shelf and ready to ship by the end of summer 2020. I already extensively tracked my original 2016 Sport, including Laguna Seca in 2017, so I know exactly how much fun and boat-heely they are on track. I have a 2019 RF that will get all the soft boi mods for street duty. The track 2019 is a soft top that I bought specifically to make fast on track. If the stock ND2 already punches well above its weight, then a modified one ought to be even more impressive.

I had the dealer install the carplay/AA on the '19 RF I bought last October and they left one of the pillars loose. I had to snap it back into place. Your gap is absolutely horrendous though lol
Does the ND have a functional oil temp sensor? I seem to remember reading that it doesn't but that would be the readout I'd want. Is the trans temp sensor functional, per your sample screen?
No to both. The oil temp is indirectly calculated by the ECU based on coolant Temps. The torque ap needs to know which pid to look for. You can dig through other mazda pid collections to see if for example the mazda3 trans temp pid also works for the miata. I'm just starting to tinker with this. Can verify that VE works, which is fun.

Has anyone, using one under track conditions using a real oil temp sensor compared to the calculated temp for comparison?
