I love this car. I just wish there was a good mod path, since I have a sickness I need to address. Since I've focused on weight reduction & handling, here are my next considerations:
Even more weight:
I have a nice odessy battery that will drop 10 lbs left over from my old turbo NA build, I just need to swap it in. I'm also considering lightweight 2pc rear rotors for 5 less lbs rear unsprungweight. I'm currently about 100 lbs under stock.
Acceleration:
Running 205/45/16 tires reduces tire diameter by about 1", and increases acceleration by about 6% if memory serves. Next option... dif ratio?
Power:
Nothing currently beyond a muffler. GWR SSST, and it sounds great.
header- sounds like the nd2 can pick up mid range torque with a header, but noise factor makes me wary. Odula sells a 42.7mm dia primary catted header, but it's mega $$$. Not sure how it affects hp/to curves. A corn tune is an option, but one of only 2 stations in the state is 40 minutes away in the wrong direction. I could do a 92 oct tune, but I'm not sold yet.

As mentioned, I'm sure it's Shiv and an OFT............he already has OFT shown for an ND2 on his site, but the dyno chart is obviously from an ND1 based on RPM. And his support is notoriously slow/spotty and after a while he tends to ignore a platform he's previously supported.

Ha! I don't buy convertibles that aren't really convertibles that add roughly 115 lbs to a light car.
With the gearbox issues and cooling, I would put the SC on the street car. With no additional power the ND needs gearbox and diff cooling on track.
Hmm, maybe I should supercharge my street car and then run the coming BBR ITB's with E85 on the track car. That would be a lot less weight and complexity for a track car, and also give me enough HP on 91 for the street car.

Unless you're trying to win HPDE, I'd probably just leave it stock with maybe a muffler so it sounds sporty and use that money for more seat time.
I need to get off my *** and install the MOROSO overflow tank for the NC, so I can actually take it out.
That's what I did with mine, Racing Beat axle back only. Just for tone. I thought the stock one was a bit too quiet. Pulling the oft tune off. It didn't make any more power, it just changed the drive-by-wire mapping.
More power is always nice but it's my daily driver and this is California. Don't want to deal with reliability or emissions issues. In the real world I never find it feeling slow or dull. It feels strong and responsive. Plenty for my commute.

It literally is stock and just has a muffler. I am talking about future plans. It is a 2019 Sport with the OEM Brembos, Bilsteins, springs, and LSD. It also has rolled fenders, a Karcepts front sway, and the BBS wheels. I ordered the rollbar a few days ago.

You're like me. Your future plans include selling the car while you still have parts for it in the garage.
Or I could sell the RF to free up money to also do the NC transmission swap in the ND2 Sport, then supercharge it with E85 and really have a quick car then. So many possibilities...

With suspension and tires, these cars are fast enough at the track.
Instead of making that one much more unreliable, just sell it, keep the RF, and go find a lightly used Camaro SS 1LE.
The Sport is already paid off. I owe nearly 30k on the RF, so that would be the one to go. I am about to sell my 2018 Abarth 124 next week, so if I also sold the RF, I would have a LOT more money to play with monthly lol

But for an HPDE car I'd say, Reliability > * vs a car that's a few seconds per lap faster.

Doesn't seems worth it for the cost, new failure points, emissions, weight..
ND1's are getting nearly that with bolt ons and corn. Personally, after owing a long string of super fast street cars with questionable utility, I'm perfectly happy with the blend of comfort, civility and fun-to-drive factor of my stock ND2. Just shocks, tires, axle back exhaust, seat rail and steering spacer.
Yeah, I haven't seen any 3rd party verified ND2 performance mod that has resulted in more than about a 15WHP bump. 7800 redline is enticing though. I'm just trying to keep the discussion alive. I agree factory reliability is kind of refreshing. That mod bug though... I have a hard time letting it go.

6th gen Camaro SS 1LE's are really affordable right now. Near supercar performance for less than a new minivan would cost. Decent street car and highway cruiser and blisteringly fast on track. Consumables not fun though. And fugly.
Best speed:consumables ratio right now is a scruffy 86 of craigslist for about $12k with another $6-8k in goodies. Room for your track tires, jack, folding chair and cooler. The 86 will have power windows, CC, A/C.
If it has a to be cheap and fast and convertible, $6k NC1 with 2.5 swap, flares /255/40's and Xidas (when they start shipping in a few months).
