Default Miata FLIR Infrared pictures

I took these a long time ago, but just stumbled upon them tonight.
Borrowed a FLIR E60 from work and took some random pics of my NB1.
Low image quality given the cost of the hardware, but still cool.

For your enjoyment:

Did this a while back with my P660;

MX-5 cold start video on Vimeo

Forgot to set the range correct when I started, also was not fast enough to actually catch the first seconds when starting. Looks like I cut it just as the thermostat opens.
Will redo sometime during the winter.

With a resolution of 206 x 156 on the IR detector I believe the images shown in the ad is seriously misleading and the real world result will be much more pixelated and at 9Hz not at all as smooth.

Interested in the results though.

Given that FLIRs offering for the iPhone has a thermal resolution of 80x60 pixels, Seek's camera has nearly 7x the resolution. Will post pics when I receive it.

Hot Stuff.

I'd love to have an IR sensor in my dSLR.
