Default Manual rack differences

Dumb assed 12:32am Friday night question...
What's the difference between a manual rack in a NA vs a NB?

Mountings are totally different AFAIK. Same as the differences for power NA vs. NB.

The manual NA rack feels really slow and not really any better than a power rack. Supposedly the manual NB rack has the best steering feel of any NA/NB rack, but they're really rare. IIRC they only sold them in '99 and only on a very small number of totally stripped cars.

Hmmm. I want to depower my steering. Can somebody point me in the right direction?
