Making a stock miata race car faster on the track
In the Netherlands there is a new cup with only 89-93 1.6 miata's
Any input on making the car faster is welcome.
There are a lot regulations... You must keep the stock engine gearbox and diff.
Shocks are only allowed in 1 brand... so are wheels, tires, airfilter and ecu.
NO modding there...
The car has been stripped down and must be road legal too. Rolgage fitted and timing at 13 degrees (seems to be best)
Playing with demper stiffnes and ridehight. (min 4 inch)
As the cup is still starting up the first race begon with some English MAX5 miata's. Strange thing was that these cars could stay longer in 2nd gear...
Why, i do not know.
Any input will be helpful!!
What will be the best placement for the airfilter?? At the back (greddy style) seems to be a high pressure point on the miata, in front is cooler air....
