Low oil pressure - coolant and oil mixture in radiator
Hello! I have the following problem and I wanted to know if anyone in this chat has had a similar experience. I have a 93 miata with an engine swap to a 2001-2005 vvt 1.8. The engine is rebuilt. Block, rods, pistons, water pump, oil, alternator, sensors and an Ms3pro computer. Manual transmission. After about 200 miles of driving (in 2 months) I started to hear a rattling noise when decelerating or when downshifting. I also noticed that the oil pressure gauge needle would drop to zero at those times. Immediately upon accelerating it would go back up and normalize. The engine did not lose power or try to shut off. The last day I used it. it started to get hot and overheated, when I turned it off and checked it I found that the coolant bottle had a lot of oil. There is apparently no coolant or water in the engine mixed with the oil that made me doubt that it is the cylinder head gasket. (maybe) has anyone had a similar problem? any comments or suggestions on what the damage could be? I appreciate any help.
