But seriously. The Cabrio version does have a certain Austin-esque charm to it:

Though for some reason it doesn't quite tickle my man-**** in quite the same way as the Ghia. The 1800 is suave, but the VW possesses a certain litheness which is absent from its much larger, heavier Swedish cousin.

This is funny, I wasn't sure how to spell it so I scrolled down to Joe's post and spelled the same. It's like I got in trouble for copying off the kid next to me in grade school. My-bad.

Aaaw, no fair banning him so soon...

Anyway, it's a shame that Lambo have publicly denounced any intention of ever building this vehicle:

I must say, i like the Amazon a lot.

It's hard to find one that hasn't been all messed with.

Honestly it's more so how we'll you can hook, if you hook and shock the tranny you can rip teeth off, blow gears any multitude of things. I would worry about getting your engine and management system there before you worry about your tranny. I have a 96 1.8 on stock tranny pushing low 20 psi on a big 16g turbo estimates are close to 250-300 to the wheels. Just learn how to shift smoothly and u will be fine... For a while. But remember these cars are easy to find parts for.

It is wrong to call that spelling. It is simply lazy and slovenly.

You fail to recognize the distinction between modern american and modern idiot.

Contrary to popular belief, there IS a difference.

Must be a zonie thing. I've honestly never seen it spelled that way.

OTOH, I do run into a lot of "for all intensive purposes..." and the like. Makes me want to just curl up into an alot's arms and cry.

Oh dear, yes. IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT A PHRASE MEANS, DON'T USE IT.

Irregardless of weather or not people are using sayings correctly, at least they are trying to communicate like a normal human being...

You can criticize grammar or spelling, but it's a whole nother thing entirely to presuppose meaning absent context.
