looking for a second car.... 1991 miata a possibility...
So my Buick beater died last week, and now I'm in the market for another second car.
I've considered all sorts of stuff, but I think another miata (to be kept relatively stock) would fit the bill nicely....
A dealership in the area has a white NA, with black interior, manual tranny, and 15000 original miles for a list price of 8 grand.
I have like 1500 bucks to put down on the car, and I figure I can talk them down a bit on price.... Good deal? opinions?

Have to go take a test drive.... dealerships round here aren't open on sundays.... will have to wait till monday.
I can't see using the turbo car as a daily.... my clutch pisses me off, I don't have the cold start figured out yet, and I hate it being dirty all the time.
I also can't see having another large car payment, so I'm not trying to spend a bunch of dough on a daily either. I could quit smoking, which costs me about 300 a month (2 packs a day sucks) and that would cover a small payment for me, and not cause a change in my lifestyle per se'.
I'd be very tempted to turbo the 91 though.... because I just can't leave well enough alone!
