Looking for exhaust sound clip pre/post resonator
I'm on a mission to quiet down my car. The resonance produced by the exhaust at certain rpm is getting to be a bit much. I find myself switching gears just to get out of the rpm range that causes the resonance. It's really loud behind the seats. My car lacks the metal pieces that attach to the body behind the seats so I think this is part of the problem. Sound easily travels from the trunk to the cabin.
This is my first point of attack. The next will be a resonator added to my exhaust system.
I'm trying to find a real world example of what sound reduction to expect from a resonator.
Thanks

He's a worthless spammer.
But on another note, check my 1st build thread and 2nd build threds for comparison.
1st time around 2.5" all the way no resonator and a big 26" magnaflow.
2nd time 3" all the way 2 big resonators and a small 18" magnaflow.
Loudness is about the same but the second one sounds way nicer IMO.
so I'd say the 2 resonators are doing a good job.
I'd definitely recommend them

expect the exhaust to sound the same just with less drone/boom/resonance.
while this is a straight up swapping of mufflers, it's kinda the same idea:
before I had too small of a muffler, listen to this. If you have good speakers turn it up and focus on the low frequencies (bass).
now compare it to this:
They sound the same to ear, but it's all the low-end freq. that was removed by being in a larger muffler. The change was suttle, the huge muffler reduced the total dB output significantly but the best part was the removal of all drone.
